Nokia N900 Mobile Phone - part 1 - unboxing & overview

The Nokia N900 Mobile Phone, wow did I say mobile phone. The internet tablets that have gone before, the N700, N710 & N800 have all been pretty cool devices. However, none of them could make phone calls. Well, the N900 is almost available and it DOES make calls. It also sports a rather cool OS called Maemo. Check out my early unboxing & overview.

Archos 5 Internet Media Tablet W/ Android Review Pt 6 (Web B

www.techreviewonline.co.uk video review. Please join our forums.

$299 16gb version, I purchased a 8gb Micro sdhc card to increase the storage capability. Please ask me if you want me to Review a particular android app/game that you want to see on the Archos 5 internet media tablet especially to see if it works well with it and I will see what I can do! :D

Part 6 of my review of the Archos 5 Internet Media Tablet w/ Android. I demonstrate the Web Browser and how speedy it is as well as Youtube. Please watch Part 7 here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z5CVu8dA64A

The Archos 5 Internet Media Tablet with the Android software is a wonderful combination of a personal media player and miniature computer! It is literally like a netbook and has advanced capabilities beyond that of your typical media players. It is a lot bigger than the Zune HD and ipod touch 3g with a gorgeous 4.8' screen. The SSID flash versions that come in 8, 16, 32gb are thin and lightweight. The hard drive models that start at 160gb and go up to 500gigs are a bit thicker obviously

The A5 it is quite simply one of the best devices I have ever owned if not, THE best. It is not without it's faults but it is really an amazing device.
For Tech specs, go here: http://www.archos.com/products/imt/archos_5it/specs.html?country=us&lang=en

The touch screen is not as touch responsive as the ipod touch or Zune HD with it's OLED screen but it's still
easy to use. You need to apply a bit of extra pressure with your fingers and thumbs because of the layers of
the screen. It's not a huge deal and you will get used to it in no time. You MUST calibrate the screen by going into settings as soon as you set it up or you might find yourself being frustrated with you not touching the keyboard letters/numbers/games/apps correctly. Calibrating is essential. The screen although not as sharp as the Zune HD, is still a delight and very enjoyable because of it's sheer size. Watching a music video or a video podcast or your own personal media is a lot of fun with the A5 it! I would give the A5 it the slight edge over the ipod touch 3g despite it's better black level on video and the Zune HD despite it's OLED glass screen.

The Google marketplace apps work for the most part really well on the A5 it but some didn't work at all but
the majority so far did for me. A lot of the apps in the marketplace and the offical AppsLib Archos app store
are FREE!

I highly recommend this device, it's lightweight, portable, has a beautiful large touch screen, has fast web
browsing, can watch youtube, you can use google voice, google talk, skype and thousands of other apps on it.
It comes with the Android OS and is one of the most amazing devices I have ever owned. For me the competition is between the Zune HD, ipod touch 3g and Archos 5 internet media tablet w/ Android. If you are into phones, I would also add the Motorola Droid in there too. The A5 is not perfect (what device isn't), has some bugs but overall is well worth the purchase! BUY IT!!

Sprint HTC Touch Pro2 Review: My Favorite Windows Mobile Device To Date

The HTC Touch Pro2, for sprint, is a windows mobile power house. Sporting a large, vivid touch screen and the best mobile keyboard I have ever used, this device works well in all regards. It features everything a business user needs such as a quality email client, a decent browser, mobile office, and a good phone. It even offers some good media elements such as beautiful playback of videos and images on the screen.

Everything isn't good however. I really hate resistive touch screens and the screen on the Pro2 hasn't changed my mind. If you are making a touch screen phone, use capacitive technology please! Also, user created content is adequate at best on this phone. Pictures are decent, for a mobile phone, but video is barley watchable. When you consider other similar devices, such as the Nokia N97, the camera is simply garbage. And why did the diamond2 get a new, 5MP camera, when the more expensive Pro2 didn't?

Overall, I really love this phone. Aside from the poor camera and limited internal memory, the device did everything I needed it to flawlessly. If you are on sprint and are looking for a business class device with a great keyboard, look no further than the HTC Touch Pro2.

How to get ALL EMULATORS+ROMs on your iPod/iPhone

FIRST OFF!.
-READ THE GODDAMN ANNOTATIONS.
-The GBA emulator USED TO COME with the Gameboy Color emulator, but doesn't any longer. You need to get them seperately.
-The PSX emulator requires you to manually add any BIOS or ROMs through iPhone Browser or SSH.
-YES, you need a Jailbroken iPod touch.
-The ROM folder is /var/mobile/Media/ROMs/-emulator-

since I know those are questions that will be asked.

This video was SUPPOSED to be a quick little upload from me, but I failed in that regard due to editing crap together. It took me 10 minutes to film--from getting ready, to setting stuff up, getting the camera good to go, filming, and putting the files on my computer---and 45 minutes to edit what you see here. I basically just tell you how to add the repo's for the emulator apps, and how to download/run them, as well as the ROMs. And I will have a video up sometime shortly(hopefully) on how to use iPhone Browser/WinSCP, which should be MUCH more coherent than this, as most of it takes place on the computer. It's damn hard to use an iPod with one hand while looking through a camera!

REPO TIME!

For the emulators themselves:
Stock Cydia Repos(Comes installed) and
http://sinfuliphonerepo.com/

ROMs:
http://gba.iromrepo.com/
http://snes.iromrepo.com/
http://gb.iromrepo.com/
http://gen.iromrepo.com/

EMULATOR NAMES:
GBA: gpSPhone
GB:gb4iphone
NES: NES
Snes: snes4iPhone
Genisis: Genesis4iphone
Playstation: PSX4iPhone

Make sure to grab the "Cracked" versions when available!

ANY OTHER QUESTIONS, ASK IN THE COMMENTS. I will be MORE THAN HAPPY to help, why do you think I post these tutorials? I like helping people!
